Board Members
The affairs of the corporation shall be under the direction of a Board of Directors (“Board”). The number, terms of office, manner of election or appointment and qualifications of the Directors shall be set forth in the Bylaws of the corporation, subject to the following limitations:

The number of directors constituting the initial Board of Directors shall be eight (8), one of whom must at all times be the Chief of Police of the North Richland Hills Police Department, who shall be a non-voting Board member; and

Following the term of the initial directors as specified in the Bylaws, such number of directors may be increased or decreased in accordance with the Bylaws.

These outstanding board members work closely with the police department to understand the needs of the agency and seeks to identify shortcomings within the department that would otherwise go unresolved. The Police Foundation strengthens valuable partnerships within the city to help create an environment where all police personnel understand they are critically important to the wellbeing of this community."
